School Garden Grown Project
Maine fairs are ramping up for in-person events this summer! School gardens can exhibit their produce, create excitement for students, and build awareness, with cash prizes to benefit the garden program! Maine Agriculture in the Classroom is in partnership with Maine School Garden Network to provide information and assistance on this amazing project with your LOCAL fair!
Each fair has different policies, but the Exhibit Hall is a big part of most fairs! In the fair book you will find a section on the exhibit hall with all the different classes offered and when/where items must be delivered and dropped off. Volunteers from MAITC and MSGN are willing to help you plan your entries. For more information email maitc@maine.gov
