Woodlawn Museum Teachers Workshop

This exciting workshop for Grade K – 8 teachers will explore online and in-hand resources to integrate agriculture into core subjects. All lessons and hands-on activities are aligned to standards. Time: 9:00 – 4:30, with 6 contact hours, or .6 CEUs awarded from the University of Maine. Cost $40 Lunch included. (scholarships available)
2024 Read ME Agriculture
The 2024 Read ME Agriculture program will be held March 18 - 22, for Maine grades PK-4 students. Inspired by our current focus on aquaculture, this year's book is "The Wakame Gatherers," written by Holly Thompson and illustrated by Kazumi Wilds. Every classroom that participates will receive a copy of the book and accompanying educator's guide, with aligned classroom activities.
The Northeast Livestock Expo Kids Day

The Northeast Livestock Expo (NELE) Kids Day is back for 2024 at the Windsor Fairgrounds on Friday, May 17th! This is a full day field trip event for Grades K-6 students.

The Agricultural Literacy Curriculum Matrix is an online, searchable, and standards-based curriculum map for K-12 teachers and contextualizes national education standards in science, social studies, and nutrition education with relevant instructional resources linked to Common Core Standards.
